Dave Brassington

Dave started his radio journey with Forces Radio in Gibraltar. These days he spends time in the studio creating his own competitions and features.

He has spent most of his life in Cheshire and is now retired. To pay the mortgage he worked as an Engineer for Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover (Never did get a company car) and also photographed Classic Motor Sport throughout Europe.

For Dave, it’s all about the music… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realising it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date.  Don’t be surprised if you suddenly find yourself tapping your feet or singing into the hairbrush.

Dave presents his show on a Monday and Friday 8pm-9pm

Chris Heart

Yellow Star

Chris has been on the airwaves on and off for around 10 years, working for a few stations, before finding a station that he loves and listens to, here at Buttercross Radio.

He spent an early part of his life in the Forces, as a defence driver and after finishing his tour, he drove wagons. Being a lad from Yorkshire, the open countryside is a great draw for Chris, who likes to spend as much time as he can in the open air, living a stone's throw from the wilderness of the Yorkshire moors.

Music to Chris, is all about enjoyment, relaxing and a smile. He loves music from the 60's onward, most genres are on his play list, as long as it's tuneful to the ear.

Chris can be found live on air as part of the Super Sunday, weekly from 11am - 2pm, and also every Thursday Morning 9am to 11am.
